Mr. Simon’s diverse practice includes the litigation of insurance coverage disputes, avoidance actions in several high-profile bankruptcies, claims under federal and state anti-discrimination statutes, and general business torts, including claims of fraud, fiduciary violations and negligence. Mr. Simon has extensive experience handling cases from their inception through trial, and has had success in all facets of the litigation process, including on motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, and at trial. For that representation, and other related matters, Mr. Simon was honored by a division of the AARP for extraordinary pro bono commitment. Prior to joining Thompson, Loss & Judge, LLP in October 2004, Mr. Simon practiced in the Washington, DC office of a national law firm.
